How does Plant Sickness Identifier diagnose a plant?
You photograph the affected part of the plant. The app identifies the plant, reads the visible symptoms, matches them against known diseases, pests and nutrient problems, and returns the most likely cause with a severity rating, the symptoms it found, a treatment plan and prevention tips.
Which plants does it work on?
Houseplants, vegetables, fruit, herbs, shrubs, roses and trees. The plant is identified first, so the care advice and the treatment plan fit that plant rather than a generic one.
Does it detect pests as well as diseases?
Yes. Aphids, spider mites, mealybugs, scale, thrips, whiteflies, fungus gnats, leaf miners, slugs and more sit in the same library as the fungal, bacterial and viral diseases, alongside nutrient deficiencies and watering problems.
How accurate is it?
Each result shows a match score, so you can see how confidently the photo read. Treat it as a fast, careful first diagnosis: it tells you the most likely cause and what to do first, and your local extension service or a plant clinic has the final word on anything that needs a chemical treatment.
